‘This production has been very personally enlightening. The story has compelled me to educate myself on the goings-on in the Middle East (something I should’ve done long ago), and has challenged me to reassess my opinions of the conflict that exists between so many factions. These characters are all piled in together on one long ride, and along the way they each offer differing attitudes and sentiments on their mission. I don’t know who is right, but I think that is the reason for this play. It’s not an answer or a solution so much as it is a dare; a dare to challenge your pre-conceived perceptions. With such a sensitive subject, the cacophony of emotions and actions that arise are, I feel, an incredible insight into a horrible ordeal,’ says Alexander.

Alexander is an Australian-born actor based in New York City.
